TESDA supports the priority of the government in agriculture to help achieve food security and sufficiency. TESDA has a partnership with the Israel Government on agro-studies through the International Center for Agricultural Interns in Israel Limited for the conduct of advanced studies and training in various agricultural areas such as Horticulture Program, Animal Science Program and Entrepreneurial initiatives.
This collaboration is aligned with the thrust of the new administration on strengthening agriculture in the country, through TESDA, will benefit from the Agro-studies Program through student or graduate internship program, curriculum innovation, technology transfer, technology research and trainer’s immersion.
The Agro-studies Program includes internship programs for TVET graduates in agriculture-related courses; and skills upgrading or immersion for TVET trainers with educational background in agriculture.
Requirements:
Interested applicants shall submit the following documentary requirements to the nearest TESDA Provincial Office:
1. Letter of Intent from applicant (addressed to Director General, TESDA)
2. Updated Personal Data Sheet/Curriculum Vitae
3. Any of the following training credentials:
a. TVET training certificate;
b. Diploma; or
c. Transcript of Records (certified true copies from school);
4. TESDA National Certificate in Agriculture Related programs
5. NBI Clearance (with validity up to 1 year)
6. Photocopy of valid passport
7. Affidavit of Undertaking
8. Accomplished Israeli Insurance and health declaration forms
9. Declaration form for COVID-19 vaccination
10. Copy of vaccination certificate
11. Terms and Conditions accepted
12. Ministry forms
