TESDA MIMAROPA’s SERVICES-on-WHEELS visits Occidental Mindoro

          TESDA MIMAROPA’s Services-on-Wheels is an innovation of TESDA MIMAROPA leadership focused on responsiveness, public’s greater access to services and the organization’s openness to change.

          Synonymous to one-stop-shop concept, TESDA MIMAROPA envisioned to expedite delivery of services, doing business and government to customer transactions to reduce their costs, minimize travels, shortened process cycle time and ultimately raise the bar of excellence and better public perception of TESDA.

          The following are the notable activities carried-out by TESDA MIMAROPA’s Services-on-Wheels during its 3-day visit  in Occidental Mindoro last January 24-26, 2017 that spawned positive impact to clients and communities.

  • Negotiated one (1) hectare of lot for the establishment of TESDA MIMAROPA Regional Training Center in Occidental Mindoro.
  • One-day issuance of authority to bundle qualifications to Accounting Information Technology and Culinary Arts to  I-Net Asia Technological School, Inc. and Caregiver International Network Inc.
  • Signed Memorandum of Agreement with I-Technological School, Inc., I-Net Asia Technological School Inc., Capt Lawrence A. Cooper Technical College, Inc., Capt. Lawrence A. Cooper Technical School- Mamburao Branch, Inc., Caregiver International Network Inc., Mindoro School of Technology, Inc., and Halcon Training Center, Inc. involving 375 scholarship grants under Training for Work Scholarship Program
  • One-day Processing and Issuance of National TVET Trainers Certificate to 17 TESDA Trainers
  • Compliance Audit conducted at Mindoro School of Technology, Inc. and Occidental Mindoro State College-Murtha involving 10 qualifications.
  • Signed an MOU with President Venturina of Occidental Mindoro State College-Murtha for the donation of iodizing machine
  • Negotiated with Occidental Mindoro State College to register various Agri-Fishery qualifications
  • Negotiated with Mayor Jesus A. Valdez and SPO4 Antonio O. Berdoz to showcase the skills training of 300 drug dependent surrenderees in the municipality of Rizal
  • Awarded Certificates of Recognition to Mayor Romulo M. Festin of San Jose, Mayor Jesus A. Valdez of Rizal, Mayor Eduardo Gadiano of Sablayan, PESO Officers of San Jose, Rizal and Sabalayan.
  • Radio interview of RD Carlos Flores and PD Edwin Andoyo at 102.5 Heart FM (May Puso sa Masa) anchored by Mr. Ferdie Data
