Calapan City │ March 8, 2017 — In celebration of the National Women’s month, TESDA MIMAROPA will provide free certification services to all women of MIMAROPA region from March 8-31, 2017.
This is in accordance with TESDA MiMaRoPa Office Order No. 35 S. of 2017 signed by TESDA Regional Director, Carlos C. Flores, stating the availment of Free Certification to women both National Certificate (NC) I-IV and Certificate of Competency (CoC) for the whole month of March.
This is in line with the celebration of the National Women’s Month with the theme “ We Make Change Work for Women”, and in support of the Expanded Training Program for Women under the 17-point Reform and Development Agenda of the TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling A. Mamondiong, “TESDA strongly recognizes the importance of women as partners in the pursuit of the country’s economic, social, cultural and political development.”
In addition, this free availment of certificate aims to enhance women competitiveness employability and productivity of all women in their field of expertise.
The certification cost will be subsidized by the Regional Office (RO) against its regular fund while Provincial Offices across the region are task to assist RO in promotion and announcement of the free certification including process and filing of application through different media outfit.
