The creation of the Technical Education and Skills Development Committee (TESDC) aims to fully realize the functional partnership between the public and private sectors. The TESDCs were organized at the regional and provincial levels to act as the highest policy making body in managing the technical education and skills development activities in the area. The TESDC plays a critical role in coordinating and monitoring the delivery of all skills activities by the public and private sectors. The MIMAROPA RTESDC plays a critical role in the management of TVET in the region including its function as an advisory and recommendatory body to harmonize and rationalize the TVET activities.
