Lab for All Hatid ni First Lady Marie Louise Araneta Marcos

WRAPPING UP A PRODUCTIVE DAY! First Lady of the Republic of the Philippines, Madame Louise Araneta- Marcos banners one among her flagship programs, “Lab for All Hatid ni First Lady Marie Louise Araneta Marcos” in Pola, Oriental Mindoro; TESDA MIMAROPA supports through co-hosting Sa TESDA, Lingap ay Maaasahan Caravan graced by TESDA Secretary Mangudadatu himself.

In his first time to visit the region, TESDA Director General, Secretary Suharto T. Mangudadatu, PhD dignified TESDA MIMAROPA’s expressed cooperation to the programs fronted by First Lady Louise Araneta- Marcos as she visits the province of Oriental Mindoro to cater through the #LabforAll program.

In his speech, he emphasized some of his formulated 10- point agenda such as TESDA sa Barangay, Youth Development, TVET Halal Devolution, TTIs to offer higher qualifications, and revisiting the Training Regulations (TRs), among others. An inspiration also came from him when he also mentioned that TTIs are not competitors of private TVIs, rather, he said that they are partners in TVET promotion and empowerment.

Representing TESDA MIMAROPA Regional Director, Angelina M. Carreon, OIC- Regional Director Zoraida V. Amper, PhD, together with TESDA Occidental Mindoro Provincial Director Rosalina P. Reyes, TESDA Oriental Mindoro OIC- Provincial Director Joey C. Aclan, along with the regional and provincial division heads and staff, TTI and TVI administrators, pulled off a one-day TESDA-initiated caravan where ample TESDA programs and activities were featured.

Per the caravan, there had been an awarding of certificates of scholarship grants, along with toolkits and allowances which served around three- hundred scholars cum beneficiaries.

The said caravan also hosted skills demonstration in different qualifications through partner TVIs/TTIs as St. Mark Arts and Training Institute, Inc., Paradigm Colleges of Science and Technology, Simeon Suan Vocational Technical College, Rizal Occidental Mindoro TESDA Training and Accreditation Center, and Provincial Training Center (PTC) – Oriental Mindoro.

In addition, there had been exhibits in our TESDA Information Booths and Desks, where everyone was seen skimming, scanning and exploring our TESDA services, success stories and products, especially in the MIMAROPA Region, together with the Information Dissemination schemes and conduct of TVET Enrolment.
