October 24, 2025 marked a meaningful day for Simeon Suan Vocational and Technical College as the institution warmly welcomed the new Regional Director of TESDA MIMAROPA, Director Baron Jose L. Lagran, CESE. The visit was led by Engr. Israfel L. Mangui, VSA III, together with the faculty and staff of SSVTC.
Director Lagran was accompanied by personnel from TESDA Region III, TESDA MIMAROPA, and the former Provincial Director Armando “Mandy” Aquino. It is worth noting that RD Lagran previously served as Regional Director of TESDA MIMAROPA, making this visit a return to a familiar region close to his heart.
In his message, Director Lagran emphasized the importance of balancing dedication to work with self-care. He encouraged everyone to work with joy, avoid stress, and enjoy what they do.
The SSVTC community greeted him with warm smiles, heartfelt messages, and a presentation showcasing the school’s accomplishments from January up to the present. To cap off the visit, Diploma students performed an intermission number to the beat of the SSVTC Jingle.
