TESDA MIMAROPA Marks New Chapter with RD Baron Lagran’s Return, Bids Farewell to RD Lenny Carreon

CALAPAN CITY, October 24 — A significant shift in leadership unfolded today at the TESDA MIMAROPA Regional Office as the agency held a formal Turnover Ceremony for its Regional and Provincial Directors. This event follows a strategic reshuffling within TESDA, aimed at placing key leaders where their expertise can best serve the organization’s evolving needs.

Outgoing Regional Director Angelina M. Carreon, CESO III, officially handed over the reins to returning Regional Director Baron Jose L. Lagran, CESE, in a symbolic exchange of the TESDA MIMAROPA Key of Responsibility and the TESDA Flag. RD Lagran, previously assigned to Region III, now resumes leadership in MIMAROPA, while RD Carreon transitions to her new post in the National Capital Region.

The ceremony also saw the turnover of responsibilities among the Provincial Directors of Palawan, Oriental Mindoro, and Romblon, marking a comprehensive leadership refresh across the region.

TESDA MIMAROPA employees, directors and delegates from Region III and NCR, Regional TESD Committee members, and heads of private Technical-Vocational Institutions in Oriental Mindoro attended the event.

Under RD Carreon’s tenure, TESDA MIMAROPA achieved remarkable milestones, including the prestigious CSC PRIME-HRM Bronze Level Award, reflecting her firm yet compassionate leadership. Her legacy is celebrated by the R4B-MOVERS, who honor the transformative strides she made in elevating the region’s technical education and skills development.

As RD Lagran returns to lead, the region embraces a renewed sense of purpose and optimism. TESDA MIMAROPA stands united in its commitment to work alongside him in advancing inclusive growth, innovation, and excellence in public service.•
