As part of the celebration of the 124th Labor Day, another bridge toward employment has been strengthened! On April 28, 2026, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing was held in Calapan City between TESDA MIMAROPA and DOLE MIMAROPA for the establishment of Job Placement Officers (JPOs) in all TESDA Technology Institutions across the region.

What do the JPOs offer?

In line the Philippine Labor and Employment Plan (PLEP) 2023-2028, the JPOs will serve as hub that connect TESDA graduates with suitable employment opportunities or entrepreneurial ventures.

“This initiative will serve as a pathway to provide our graduates with greater opportunities for employment and enable them to become valuable contributors to the economic development of our country,” said Regional Director Baron Jose L. Lagran.

This initiative aims to create more employment opportunities for residents of Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan.
